Attend an updated faculty search training program offered through the Office of the Provost. Learn about resources for faculty hiring. Based on behavioral science research and best practices from the National Science Foundation ADVANCE program, this training provides concrete, actionable steps to improve the faculty search process. This session will be led by the Office of the Provost, the Office of Legal Counsel, and the Office for Affirmative Action.

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) has announced its most recent competition to select new appointees for its Hanna H. Gray Fellows program. The program seeks to improve diversity in the professoriate by supporting fellows who are underrepresented in science. Fellows receive generous support through postdoctoral training and during the early period of their first research faculty position. If you would like to learn more about applying for the program, or about being a faculty mentor for this program, please attend this seminar with Dr. Dennis McKearin, a Senior Scientific Officer with HHMI.
