Conducting Faculty Searches

The University strives to build a scholarly community comprised of a mix of individuals who, through their own diverse experiences, identities, backgrounds, and viewpoints, contribute to our intellectual culture. The most effective way to identify top talent is to be continually on the lookout for excellent candidates, regardless of the unit’s short-term hiring needs. Attracting and recruiting outstanding academics, particularly from underrepresented groups, requires extra effort to develop the applicant pool for every open position.
