UChicago’s Academic Networks connect faculty and other academics to one another in informal settings to share resources, stories, and support across schools and divisions. Each academic network focuses on the experiences of a particular faculty group, though others are welcome to join.

Currently, four Academic Networks meet through quarterly social events:

• New Academics Network
• Academic Women’s Network
• Academics of Color Network
• Academics with Children Network

Each network provides opportunities to socialize with colleagues and connect to valuable resources on and off campus, with the ultimate goal of creating connections and promoting opportunities for faculty to discuss shared interests and concerns.
