Attend this workshop to learn more about Chicago Public Schools (CPS). If you are considering transferring your student to CPS for the 2021 - 2022 school year, you must test for selective enrollment or the CPS gifted program this spring. This session will review the school selection process, give testing tips and information, and discuss how to apply. The Office of the Provost and Duane Davis, Executive Director of K12 Education Initiatives, are hosting this meeting for the University of Chicago community to share information, deadlines, and strategies for the application process. Please join us to meet other families interested in Chicago Public Schools, learn more about local school options, and get information about the requirements for magnet and selective enrollment schools at all grade levels including entering the gifted middle school academic centers and various options for selective enrollment and specialty high schools. Partners are encouraged to attend.
