This session will provide an overview of what it takes to produce a successful op-ed for a national publication, and will offer tips for increasing the chances that your piece will be accepted. The session will feature Tim Swarens, Deputy Opinion Editor at USA Today, who will answer questions along with moderator Jeremy Manier, UChicago’s Associate Vice President for Communications and Public Affairs.
