Mentoring

The University of Chicago is developing new resources to help faculty become more effective mentors and provide meaningful and timely feedback to students. The UChicago Faculty Development Program, in collaboration with the Chicago Center for Teaching and Learning, UChicagoGRAD, and graduate student advisors, is creating these resources along with opportunities to engage graduate students by connecting them to various tools, activities, and resources designed to help them succeed at the University and make informed decisions about their careers. Additional tools for measurement and evaluation will also be developed.

A list of upcoming mentoring training sessions for faculty sessions is available below, and sessions for graduate students will be posted soon. Departmental trainings are available by request. For more information, email faculty_development@uchicago.edu
