Federal agencies require principal investigators (PIs) to demonstrate Broader Impacts, clearly showing advanced outcomes and/or societal benefits of their research and how they will ultimately be put into action.

The new UChicago Research Dissemination and Communications Program (UChicago RDCP) supports PIs in developing Broader Impacts dissemination and communication strategies. Offered in partnership with the Office of Research and University Communications, program staff with deep experience in academic communications will partner with PIs during both the proposal development and award phases, developing tailored plans and campaigns to increase the impact of research projects.
