Returning to the in-person classroom in Autumn Quarter after 18 months of remote and hybrid teaching brings both exciting prospects for renewed engagement with students as well as shifting challenges as we continue to teach amid a changing pandemic. In this workshop, we will take up the distinctive issues to be thinking about for Autumn Quarter, such as teaching with masks and creating a supportive learning environment in the current circumstances. We will also reflect on what we have learned about our teaching and students’ learning during the pandemic and how those insights might inform our pedagogy going forward.
