Learn how to present your book and promote your work virtually from faculty who will describe how they are adapting to the digital platform. The session will address some of the benefits of digital promotion such as reaching a larger and more diverse audience. It will also describe how to structure a virtual book promotion event, including pre-recorded video interviews to remote conference workshops.
This session will feature UChicago faculty members Rachel Cohen, Professor of Practice in the Arts in the Department of English and author of Austen Years, and Neil Shubin, Robert R. Bensley Distinguished Service Professor of Organismal Biology and Anatomy in the Department of Organismal Biology and Anatomy and author of Some Assembly Required. It will be moderated by Carrie Olivia Adams, Promotions and Marketing Director at UChicago Press.
