Zoom web conference

UChicago faculty are invited to learn mindfulness skills to help better understand their thoughts in this half-hour session with Julie Edwards, Director of Health Promotion and Wellness. Thinking is something we often take for granted. We can easily become lost in thought or consumed by thoughts which distract us from the present moment. Labelling thoughts raises awareness of the kinds of things we think about which can be helpful if we are trying to change habitual thought patterns. This session will guide you through different techniques to better understand your thoughts and your attachment to them.

The workshop will include an opportunity to chat live with the presenter and will be recorded for future access. All participants will be sent the Zoom meeting link after their registration.
