UChicago faculty are invited to learn mindfulness skills to help cultivate self-compassion in this half-hour session with Julie Edwards, Director of Health Promotion and Wellness.

Self-compassion, or self-love, is an important tool for people who work hard or who are constantly striving to perfect different areas of their lives. This session will guide you through a meditation to pay attention to your internal self-talk so you may begin cultivating compassion for yourself and understanding more clearly the value you bring to this world.

The workshop will include an opportunity to chat live with the presenter and will be recorded for future access. After registering, participants will receive an email with a link to the Zoom session.
