UChicago faculty are invited to learn about the intersection of mindfulness and nutrition in this half-hour session with Carolyn Banner, a registered dietitian nutritionist.

We eat mindfully by paying attention to the present moment through whole body and mind awareness. When we pair mindfulness with compassion, curiosity, kindness, and a bit of fun, we are able to eat intuitively, allowing us to make peace with food and feel empowered in our body and choices.

This workshop will teach participants how to use the necessary act of nourishing ourselves as a way to bring mindfulness to our daily lives for physical, mental, and emotional health. The session will include an opportunity to chat live with the presenter and will be recorded and saved to the Faculty Development Program website for future access. All participants will receive a link to the Zoom meeting link after registering.
