Learn how you can contribute to Gizmodo (a design, technology, science, and science fiction website) as an expert source to inform broad mainstream audiences about complex scientific topics. Isaac Schultz, a science writer for Gizmodo, covers topics related to earth sciences, with special focus on archeology, physics, space, nuclear fusion, and quantum physics. During this session, he will discuss the story development process and how he approaches science topics at a technology-focused outlet. The session is aimed at faculty in the earth and physical sciences, along with other science-related research areas.

Before Gizmodo, Schultz covered breaking science news, overlooked scientific history, archaeology, and ecology at Atlas Obscura. The New York-based journalist holds degrees from Rice University and Columbia University.
