Communications must be as inclusive as possible to achieve maximum impact. This session will provide strategies to help faculty communicate inclusively with colleagues, media, and potential donors/funders. Topics will include:

  • Best practices for respectful and inclusive communications
  • Considerations when communicating across cultures and identities
  • Tools and terminology for navigating a changing world
  • What to do if you do if you say something that doesn’t land well

The session will be led by Dr. Lily Jampol (she/her), Head of People Science and Consulting at ReadySet, a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion consulting firm. Jampol has more than 10 years of research expertise in organizational well-being and behavior change and was previously an Assistant Professor in Business and Management.
