Join the Office of Dual Careers and Faculty Relocation for a virtual networking workshop. Whenever professional topics are discussed, one of the first pieces of advice is to network. However, taking those first steps can be challenging or overwhelming. Networking may also seem unproductive and lack tangible outcomes at times. This webinar will help you begin networking and learn how to be productive. You’ll learn:

  • The purpose of networking and the value of planning
  • How to assess your current personal and professional networks
  • How to activate your network and develop new contacts
  • Strategies to help you network productively

Whether your goals are to research, get advice, build deeper professional relationships, or advance your job search, this discussion will be valuable for you. The session will be led by Pam Schilling, CEO of Archer Career and Career Strategist. It is intended for spouses/partners of UChicago faculty, though faculty are welcome to attend as well.
