Learn more about how to effectively mentor graduate students at this session offered in partnership with the Office of the Provost, the Chicago Center for Teaching, the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering, and the Biological Sciences Division. This session will be led by Dr. Angela Byars-Winston from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. It will feature an overview on culturally responsive mentorship (CRM), integrating the rationale for CRM from the National Academies for Science, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) Science of Effective Mentorship Report and research on cultural influences on academic and career development, along with professional development options.
