Learn how to share information about your research and scholarship in a clear and compelling way. In this interactive session, you’ll explore how to succinctly explain your work using accessible language, articulating its significance and impact. This can help facilitate collaborations with colleagues across disciplines and also raise awareness of and interest in your work among broader audiences.
 
Practice how to prioritize information, avoid academic jargon, and excel at storytelling while keeping the audience in mind. You’ll leave the session with a draft of your own brief “elevator pitch.”
 
This session will be led by Susanne Maris, a seasoned trainer and coach specializing in assisting academics prepare grant proposals to secure research funding.
