The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) has announced its most recent competition to select new appointees for its Hanna H. Gray Fellows program. The program seeks to improve diversity in the professoriate by supporting fellows who are underrepresented in science. Fellows receive generous support through postdoctoral training and during the early period of their first research faculty position.
