Develop the skills needed to provide ongoing and successful mentoring of graduate students. Based on evidence-based facilitation from the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experience in Research (CIMER), mentor training includes interactive workshops that focus on communicating effectively, aligning expectations, mentoring across difference, and having difficult conversations. This workshop will focus on providing constructive feedback, communicating effectively across different dimensions, and engaging active listening. It will be led by Assistant Provost Regina Dixon-Reeves.
