Learn how to communicate about your research to wider audiences and increase awareness of your work in the second of a three-part series focused on media coverage of scientific scholarship. During these brief sessions, you’ll connect with science journalists from top national news outlets to learn how they decide which scientific studies to cover, find out how to best work with them, and get answers to your specific questions.

This session will feature David Freeman, Science Bureau Chief with The Wall Street Journal. Freeman leads a team of science journalists who produce articles and videos covering astronomy/astrophysics and space exploration; geology and environmental science including weather/climate change; and physics and molecular/biomedical engineering. He previously served as editorial director of the science and innovation section at NBCNews.com, managing editor of impact and innovation at the Huffington Post, and managing editor of health coverage for CBSNews.com.
