Learn how to communicate about your research to wider audiences and increase awareness of your work in the first of a three-part series focused on media coverage of scientific scholarship. During these brief sessions, you’ll connect with science journalists from top national news outlets to learn how they decide which scientific studies to cover, find out how to best work with them, and get answers to your specific questions.

This session will feature Jennifer Couzin-Frankel, staff writer with Science magazine. Couzin-Frankel’s focus areas include biomedical research, clinical research, and potential treatments for chronic and severe diseases including cancer, COVID-19, and obesity. She is a longtime writer for Science magazine whose work has also appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Wired, and other outlets.
